The Dee Marshes

Just down the road from where I live is the river Dee part of which has become silted up,forming the marshes. It is quite an important bird watching area and very popular with local walkers, particularly doggy walkers. There are marvellous views looking across to North Wales, which we can also see from the back of our bungalow, lucky so-and-so's that we are!

Really nice pictures Angie! Easy to see why it's such a popular place.

It would be a beautiful place to walk. These photos capture it nicely. Thank you for your kind words on my blog.

Very pleasant to see the pictures from that area. Some years ago my wife and I spent a Sunday in November walking along the walls of Chester. Living history.

Thank you for your own nice comment!

That would be a great place to take my morning walk - just a bit too far away for me though. :-)

Love learning about other places -- thanks for sharing! The photos are beautiful. I, too, have a walkway along our big river that separates Washington from Oregon and use it often. We have many other trails too. Beautiful scenic photos!
