The gaggle of flying geese is just wonderful. We don't get sights like that down here in Australia. Makes your image all that more precious to me.

I see the geese are starting to fly in formation already. I guess they need to train the youngsters very early.

That formation mimics the figure of the bird. Why did I never notice that before? Great stuff here.

beautiful! when I was growing up, the passing geese were a special part of every autumn. Now, they live in our area year round. A sign of global warming?

Love your shots!

This is just too much: turn the picture of the flock of birds to the right 90 degrees and I think you have someone's profile. I got an inverted pyramid the other day:

I think birds are uncanny in their never ceasing desires to please us with their ceative efforts!

Very nice. One of my favorite things is to listen to the geese above me, honking their little hearts out as they fly to their next destination. You've captured them beautifully.

Oh I love the geese!

Hello Angie,
Great shots,-- I'll have to go explore the rest of your SW blog. Why does it sound so good when people mention the marshes? you picture them teeming with wildlife. dragonflies darting and ducks splashing.

Dianne said...

I love the noise they make as they fly over

Hi Angie, you have another troubled sky, but those geese don't mind one bit.
We have a saying, "weather fit for a duck."
